TABLE OF CONTENTS
Supported MIDI Channel
Xpand!2 is only supported on MIDI Channels 1-4. This means that if you wish to trigger sounds or automate any settings in Xpand!2, you'll need to ensure that your hardware or DAW is sending MIDI data to a supported MIDI Channel 1-4.
Sending MIDI data outside of MIDI Channels 1-4 is not supported and may not behave as expected.
Refer to Your Hardware or DAW Documentation
If you're unsure how to send MIDI data to specific channels on your hardware or DAW, we recommend referring to the documentation that came with your equipment or software. Most hardware MIDI controllers and DAWs include settings or preferences, that allow you to specify which MIDI channels are used for output and input MIDI messages.
By configuring your hardware / DAW to send MIDI data to the supported MIDI channels for Xpand!2, you can ensure that you're able to access all of the great sounds and features that Xpand!2 has to offer.
